'For the Love of God' is a graphic anthology published by the Gaysi Family in 2018. The anthology consists of several stories from Indian mythology involving characters who identify on the LGBTQI+ spectrum. Stories that aren't repeated often, or are almost lost to conventional myths.
I stepped on as the visual editor for the book, which involved getting in touch with illustrators and coordinating with them to ensure each piece was ready in time, and was visually faithful to the story. In addition to the art direction on individual stories, I also worked on the book layout, individual artworks for the team page, index designs and accent designs.
This book was a wonderful challenge as I got to work with various artists who work with different styles, while creating a visual identity for the book, that marries the theme and, balances all the varying visual treatments of the stories.
